We have recently changed our name from Burns-Lilly & Associates to Burns Lilly Mending Minds to better reflect the essence of our business. Burns Lilly has been a trusted name in mental health services for over 30 years! Although our name has changed, we continue to provide care that you can trust.

We provide both in-person and virtual therapy options. We also have therapists that provide bilingual services.

FAQ

  • We do not accept walk-ins, please call our office to schedule an appointment.

  • s an outpatient clinic with no resources to address crisis situations or urgent needs immediately or outside of office hours.

    If you are in a crisis, please call 911 or your local emergency services or visit the closest emergency room. You may also reach out to the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline through phone or text by dialing 988 or online via chat.

  • The therapeutic relationship is a confidential relationship. No information will be disclosed about you or the fact that you are receiving services from our therapists without written consent.

    While we keep your information confidential, there are some limitations to confidentiality. Your therapist may disclose confidential information without consent in the following situations:

    • Suicidal or Homicidal Ideations

      • If the client threatens or attempts to commit suicide or otherwise conducts themself in a manner in which there is a substantial risk of incurring serious bodily harm then the proper authorities will be notified.

      • If the client threatens grave bodily harm or death to another person then the proper authorities and/or the person who harm is threatened will be notified.

    • Abuse or Neglect

      • If there is disclosure or reasonable suspicion that the client or another named individual is the perpetrator, observer of, or actual victim of neglect, physical abuse, emotional abuse, or sexual abuse of children under the age of 18. Therapists/counselors are mandated reporters and will be required to report the abuse or suspicion of abuse to Child Protective Services

      • If there is a disclosure or reasonable suspicion of abuse to elders or disabled individuals then a report will be made to Adult Protective Services

  • We do not prescrbe medications. If you need medication management, please reach out to your primary care physician or psychiatrist.

      (payment type may vary depending on provider)

  • Your session will still end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late to a session, you will need to reschedule and may be charged a missed appointment fee.

  • we require a 24-Hour Notice to cancel your appointment. You can contact your therapist to notify them. if you do not notify your therapist that you are canceling your appointment, you will be charged a fee. It is important to note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for canceled sessions and therapists are unable to fill this time slot when not given timely notification.
